DEFINITION OF INSTALLATION ART

Installation Art is the art of assembling, consolidating, and construct a number of things that are considered to refer to particular meaning context awareness. Usually meaning in social questions, political and other matters that are raised in the concept of contemporary art installation. Installation of visual art in the context of a form that serves three dimensional visual that takes into account the elements of space, time, sound, light, movement and interaction of visitors spectator final conception of the exhibition as if appearance.

For example, before a large work of sculpture can go on display in a public plaza, the area in which it will be located needs to be prepared by insuring that footings are in place to support the weight of the sculpture, creating a platform or base for the sculpture, bringing in the sculpture itself and attaching it firmly to the base, adding any lighting or security equipment that may be required, and arranging the surrounding area so as to complement the sculptured art. The same basic process would be needed for other types of artwork.

• We as a group need to create installation art connected with the first task of going through the materials that we have collected while performing tasks in Port Dickson. We will create an art installation using the items that we have collected.
• We will create an art installation on the theme of nature (using natural materials only)

This is one of the best way for use to introduce the artwork in 3D to the audience, this also will pull the attraction toward the 3D artworks in a good way.

after we seeing all the excellent installation arts above,we group members get a lot of ideas,so we decided to create something about religions,and finally we decided to make a comparison between Christ and Islam,so we will create two buildings,one church and one mosque.

i did a research about our theme,and i fond these two images very nice,so we will do our installation art work like it,all the building surround by sand and all the color is yellow.so according to this environment we choose our materials with sand and stones.

there are all our group members materials get from beach we collect together and decided what we need and what can be used for our installation art work.

 we use white glue and mix with water

 filter the sand

 make the sand dry

 put the white glue into the clean sand

 mix the sand and white glue together makes it hard

 when finish take it from the box

 follow the way to make 3 more and put together

 this is the first work we done

follow the way we create more different types of building,they all like Egypt style, in order to create the environment we need and also to let our installation art work not monotonous.

 here are all the sketches draw about the mosque,we design it from different angle,and also the surface.

here are two very beautiful mosque building,and what that is our idea get from,we draw the sketches like these mosques.

because we should make a very big installation art work,so that is not easy to do,we use the box to create one 3D cube.

we fill up the box with newspapers to make it much more hard.

and next we cover the box with one plastic paper,one way to make it beautiful and also to daub glue.

here is very important step,daub the glue and put the sand on it.

and this is the final work.

 the same way,we make the building two side of the mosque,we use a lot of materials to create it,so thanks so much of my group member,this is a very delicate work,the cause much time.

with all our group members hard-working we finally done all the installation art.
